I love the NPP and I wish to use this as a means to invite all party members nationwide to join the call of the grassroots to #BringBackTheLove4NPP. This is the new sensation, and I entreat all party members to join this happily.
The New Patriotic party has had its ups and downs as a political party in power. It can never be easy managing the largest political party in Ghana; however, both leadership and party members have consistently contributed their quota to ensuring the development of the party.
In recent times it is not only economies globally which have suffered a downtime but as a party, we have also had our own share of troubles. Some of the people have reverted to be counted among the silent masses but this need not continue any longer. Not because we are preparing for another election but because just as football unites the nation, love for the NPP is what binds all members together irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, or even religion.
I love the NPP and I wish to use this as a means to invite all party members nationwide to join the call of the grassroots to #BringBackTheLove4NPP. This is the new sensation, and I entreat all party members to join this happily.
For the new National Executive Officers, the charge of the grassroots to you is to ensure unity at all cost, to bring us all together as one family, and avoid contributing or fuelling acts that seek to divide the party more than unite us. Also, we want to kindly appeal to leadership to extend an olive branch to all the members who were expelled from the party for one reason or the other, and if possible set a respected committee to listen to aggrieved party members so that we find appropriate solutions to their issues. This, we believe will be another reason to rekindle the love for those whose love for the party may have grown cold.
As members of tHe party, we should remember this; when Black Stars play a match and win, we jubilate not because we will directly enjoy some of the winning bonus, but the joy we feel when we win is immeasurable. We, therefore, urge members to have a new enthusiasm and create a new euphoria for and around the party to serve as nectar to invite all Ghanaian voters to join our happy elephant party.
Also to our dearly beloved TESCON folks who were disenfranchised during the National Delegates Conference, my plea to us all is that we should remember these sacred words “Commitment without Inducement”. Let this encourage us to forgive one another and to forgive whatever led to such an unpardonable blunder. The good news is that when the older folk see TESCON, they feel inspired because they are sure that they have a vibrant team of young women and men who are prepared to take over the mantle of leadership both now and in the future.
Everyone has a role to play to BRING BACK THE LOVE.
Now to ALAN KYEREMATEN, who is expected to lead the party as its flagbearer soon, the party’s grassroot need one very important thing from you, just as Rev. Paul Frimpong Manso once intimated to you ‘when by the grace of God you become the leader of the party and Ghana, bring everybody to you.’
Let us all work together to bring back the Love for NPP.
