News reaching our news desk suggest that Hopeson Yevu Adorye has been axed from his job in the NPP Government for his open support and bias for Hon. Alan Kyerematen in the soon to begin NPP Presidential Primaries.
Is it a Crime to Support Alan ?
It has become obvious in the NPP Kingdom that anyone who supports Alan Kyerematen openly is sacked, intimidated and given a raw deal whiles those who support the Vice President are given lucrative positions in government.
In recent times we have seen and heard open declarations for the Vice President by the Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon. Henry Quartey, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Chairman Wontumi and other party members. But the rod of anger was not vented on them by the powers that be, however anyone who openly supports Alan is treated like an alien in the party and in government.
Selective Justice by Party Leadership
It is clear that some are more equal than others… The leadership of our party will drag every Alan supporter to face disciplinary action and will openly condemn programs and events organised in honour of Alan Kyerematen but they will be all out ensuring that state funds are used to hype the vice president.
In the current situation, Mr. Hopeson Adorye is a man who single handedly dedicated himself to a lot of special operations to ensure the two successive victories of president Akuffo Addo, yet this is how Akuffo Addo’s government seeks to honour such a great asset to the NPP party and to Ghana as a whole.
Conclusion
It is obvious to all delegates that the next flagbearar of the great NPP party is Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the level of hatred being meted out to him by certain elements in government leave a lot of questions than answers but as the saying goes, who Jah bless,….
